Toyota Will Launch 10 Electric Cars in the Next 5 Years

Toyota has announced that will launch 10 new hybrid cars in the next five years. While the automotive industry is one of the most affected by the crisis, Toyota will present to the amateur public at the Detroit Auto Show, a new generation of Prius and the new Lexus HS250h hybrid. Moreover, the first 100% electric car that belongs to the company will be launched in 2012.
Another alternative proposal, the new Prius Plug-in hybrid will be on the market a year earlier, at the end of 2009 and not 2010 as was originally stipulated.
The fifth model that will be launched in 2010 is the Camry model, which uses compressed natural gas. Toyota aims to sell at least one million alternative automobile until 2010.
