Luxgen, a Taiwanese company, has unveiled at the Dubai International Auto Show a new all-electric MPV that according to the company, it will the world’s first all-electric 7-passenger MPV.

Reseacrhers at the GMR Institute of Technology in Rajam, India, found that cottonseed oil could be a source of “green fuel” for cars. They discovered that the cottonseed oil was as efficient as petroleum diesel when used as fuel in small engines.

Hitachi has made an important step in the development of “green” cars. The company claims it has developed a new lithium-ion battery for hybrid and electric cars that tops its previous versions by 70% in output density.
