Energy-Saving Technology Developed Make Air Conditioners Green
Wednesday, June 24, 2009 2:36 No Comments
Researchers at the Purdue University have discovered a new technology that saves energy and servicing costs by indicating when air conditioners are low on refrigerant, preventing the units from working overtime. The new “virtual refrigerant charge sensor” is particularly practical for automotive air conditioners, which tend to leak refrigerant more than other types of units.

This discovery was made by a group of researchers at Rice University which have founded a new way to improve the efficiency of lithium-ion batteries: use carbon-nanotube/metal-oxide arrays as electrode material.
Two-stage mechanical oscillator could produce free energy
Monday, February 9, 2009 6:38 No CommentsVeljko Milkovic is the inventor of this amazing 2-stage mechanical oscillator that could be a source of clean energy. The machine is composed of two parts: a pendulum and a lever. When these two elements are combined the gravitational and centrifugal forces work to produce free and clean energy.
World’s First Battery That Can Use Any Liquid To Power Up
Saturday, November 1, 2008 1:20 No CommentsThe world’s first chlorophyll organic battery was created by professor Chungpin Hovering Liao of National Formosa University in Taiwan. To power up, this amazing battery can use any liquid, even urine. The battery starts providing power in only 10 seconds of being doused with liquid.
Besides its advantages, the battery has a disadvantage : it only [...]
