According to the researchers from Purdue University, the No. 2 fuel oil and a blend of degummed soybean oil can be used as an alternative heating fuel, reducing the sulfur emissions.
Reseacrhers at the GMR Institute of Technology in Rajam, India, found that cottonseed oil could be a source of “green fuel” for cars. They discovered that the cottonseed oil was as efficient as petroleum diesel when used as fuel in small engines.

This is an amazing news, because i never heard that an individual to make at home biodiesel from algae. His name is Charlie Trafford and for many years he make biodiesel from cooking oil, but now he decided to change the source, and to make biodiesel from algae.
