Sharp launches LCD TVs with “eco button”

Sharp announced the launch of a new series of LCD TVs that have the “green eco-button” technology in the remote control which allows users to minimize the energy consumption of the TV.
The “eco button” of the remote control allows viewers to select the “Energy Save Mode” feature without being forced to navigate in the TV menu. The “eco” mode activated by the green button reduce the energy consumption while people are watching at the TV.
The new “green” televisions will be available in 32-inch, 42-inch, 46-inch and 52-inch sizes. In addition, the “Optical Picture Control” technology lets viewers further reduce the energy consumption by automatic adjusting of the background light depending of the light from room.
