Ice Energy has invented a new system named Ice Bear that could reduce the energy required by air conditioners developed for small to mid-sized commercial buildings. Ice Bear integrates seamlessly with conventional air conditioning units to create a unique hybrid cooling system that fundamentally changes how – and more importantly when – energy is consumed for air conditioning.
According to the company, this new system reduces energy consumption by as much as 95% from the very first day the Ice
Bear energy storage unit is deployed. During hot summer afternoons Ice
Bear offering consumers a greener way to keep the interiors cool.
The system integrates seamlessly with conventional air conditioning units and stores clean, abundant and less expensive off-peak power in the form of frozen water within an insulated storage tank. As daytime temperatures rise the system uses the stored ice to condense the refrigerant needed for effective cooling and shuts-off the energy-intensive compressor.

Is air-conditioning system using Ice Energy available now? Many people in Asia can’t wait to use it now, it’s supposed to be less expensive, and use less available energy now. China, in particular, is anxious to wait for this anxiously. It lacks the money nor technology to use prevailing air-conditioner, they hope the next turn will come soon. Can you inform me when is the next technology coming and where?
