First Flying “Eco” Car That Will Take Off To Timbuktu

A British adventurer leave London this week and will go to Timbuktu, Mali at the board of a flying car powered by biofuel.The trip will take about 42 days, and Neil Laughton plans to fly over the Pyrenees to Andorra, and then through air over Gibraltar.
This flying car is called Skycar and in just three minutes it can to convert into an aircraft, provided with nylon wings and with a parachute. The car can reach 70 km/h from any track of a length of at least 200 meters.
In flight, the pilot will pedal to adjust the wings shape and to provide the movement. Thus, while it is in the air, Skycar has a zero carbon footprint.
With the sponsors help the team has invested 380,000 dollars in the project. The brain behind the invention is Gilo Cardozo, a 29 years old inventor.
