A part of the energy used by the Power Valley Jinjiang International Hotel, in northern China is produced by it’s own solar generators.
The glass ceiling of the hotel is covered with solar panels, and demonstrates how can be used the latest technology in the fight against climate change. The panels cover almost 4,500 square meters and absorb the sunlight, which is turned into electricity. The windows are also equipped with solar panels.
The hotel itself is a power plant with a capacity of 0.3 MWp, built by Yingli Green Energy, a company that creates, produces and sells solar energy equipments, but carries out research programs.
