sunseeker-ii-1_nljzx_69A solar plane will cross Europe being powered only by solar energy. The aircraft called the Sunseeker II is the enhanced version of the first solar airplane that crossed the United States, Sunseeker I.

Solar Flight, the producer of the two planes will prove again the value of solar energy after a careful examination of the technical aspects of the first model. The improvements that will be made to the new Sunseeker,  include a new wing design, a better lithium-polymer battery system, more powerful motor and better photovoltaic panels.

Sunseeker II will cross Europe after it will be presented in a presentation at the e-flight expo. This plane will fly over Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Italy, Spain and France.
